About Laura
Laura grew up in Alberta and was a competitive gymnast for 11 years. Due to an injury, she switched sports in 2002 and began training for cycling at the Olympic Oval National Cycling Centre. After spending many years in the development program, she moved to the West Coast to attend the University of Victoria and to pursue her new passion in Canada's hot bed of cycling. Laura currently resides in Vancouver, BC and is a Canadian National Track Team member. Laura is living, training, and racing in pursuit of winning medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Summer Games.
